47. Better cycle routes reclaimed from the highway

  • Cycle workshop. [added 16.2.11]
  • Leicester City Council (LCC) will assess and consider potential for roadspace re-allocation as part of LTP111 and sustainable transport fund submission to central government and when new and appropriate developments arise. LCC is supporting this initiative. [added 16.2.11]
  • Songlines - A communal mapping project based on GPS technologies, collectively creating updated routes across Leicester for walkers and cyclists based on local knowledge. It is supported by the DMU Transport Group and LCC. The maps can be accessed and updated on mobile phone. [added 16.2.11]
