Planning - The core strategy policy 11 sets out a retail hierarchy and measures to protect and enhance retail centres as the most sustainable loction for retail development. Centres are defined on the Proposals Map. [added 16.2.11]
Economic Regeneration: New £600k working neighbourhoods fund is set to support shopping environments in priority gateways to the city. [added 16.2.11]
There are plans to improve the city market and create this as a shopping destination and for leisure use, improving the public realm. [added 16.2.11]
