Presentation: Ethical issues of emerging technologies

Bernd's presentation will outline which emerging information and communication technologies will be relevant by 2020. Building on the work of the European research project ETICA (Ethical Issues of Emerging ICT Applications), Bernd will describe some of these core technologies, discuss the expected consequences of the technologies and address the question of how they can be subject to democratic control.
